Aaltonaut is Aalto University’s Bachelor’s Minor Program on Interdisciplinary Product Development launched for the first time in 2013. Aaltonaut courses rely on problem-based learning as well as interdisciplinary team-work in hands-on projects. The general goals of the Aaltonaut program are refining teamwork and communication skills and reinforcing the entrepreneurial attitude.
Aaltonaut Program in Shanghai D&I is a non-degree program for undergraduate students jointly run by Shanghai D&I and Aalto University. There are five courses in this program, Product Sustainability, Product Analysis, Design Your Business, Challenge Breaker, Communications.
This program offers courses in two semesters, during weekends and summer vacation. The teaching methods applied are lecturing, case analysis, discussion, teamwork and other interactive ways.
