On March 2, 2017 The First Italian Design Day in the World (Made In Italy e Cultura) was held in Tongji University, College of Design and Innovation. This event was hosted by Dean LOU Yongqi with special guests Stefano Beltrame, the Consul General of Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, and WU Jiang, the Executive Vice President of Tongji University.

Mr. WU Jiang said that, Italy has always played a leading role in the area of Design, and he hoped Italian Design could bring inspriation to Tongji Design and China Design.
