On May 21, 2017the First Meeting of the Strategic Management Team and the First College Board of Shanghai International College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University (Shanghai D&I) was held in Tongji University College of Design and Innovation. ZHONG Zhihua, the President of Tongji University, CHEN Yuehua, one of the leaders from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and TAN Bing, the Deputy Director of Yangpu District, attended the meeting as members of the Strategic Management Team. The meeting was chaired by LOU Yongqi, the Dean of Shanghai D&I and the Secretary General of the First College Board.

The Charter of the College Board of Shanghai International College of Design and Innovation, Tongji Universitywas reviewed and approvedatthe meeting.

The first College Board was established at the meeting, with ZHONG Zhihua as the Chairman, and LV Peiming and CHEN Jinsong as the vice Chairman. LV is the Vice President of Tongji University, and CHEN is a board member of Tongji University and the Board Director ofShenzhen WorldUnion Properties Consultancy.

The meeting also reviewed and approved the candidacy of the Vice Deans of Shanghai D&I,they are Professor SUN Xiaohua, Professor XU Jiang (from Tongji D&I), and Professor Jarmo SUOMINEN(the Deputy Chief of Tongji Sino-Finnish Center).
